Hurricane Willma Landfall on Sunday

Hurricane Wilma is expected to make landfall by Sunday night. Hurricane Wilma has been downgraded from a Category 5 to a Category 4 late Wednesday. However the power of the storm has not diminished all that much. Hurricane Wilma is still a very powerful storm.

Hurricane Wilma is expected to touch Mexico's Yucatan Peninsula for a bit then head off towards Florida. It looks like a little bit of the hurricane is currently making landfall in the Yucatan Peninsula right now. It appears that there has not been much reports of damage from the Yucatan Peninsula yet today. However there were streams of busses leaving Cancun yesterday.

In Florida there is a lot of people that have the intention of weathering out Hurricane Wilma. They say they have survived Hurricane Charley, and that they can survive Wilma. The Florida Keys officials postponed the mandatory evacuation from Thursday to Friday.
