Hurricane Katrina Relief

Thursday, November 10, 2005

I recently talked to Chuck Anderson, a graphic designer, who aided the relief effort in Biloxi and New Orleans. He talked about his experiences, the people he met, and the destruction he saw due to Hurricane Katrina. All in all, it is very tragic what happened by the hurricanes, but it is great that there were a lot of people that went to the south to help out.
Here you can see a team as they are almost finished.
Here you can see a pile of wreckage being loaded into a dump truck in New Orleans from Hurricane Katrina.
Here is a dog in Biloxi that is trying to hide from the sun, without any water.
This is Chuck Anderson with his new friend, Zion.
And amidst all the wreckage, there is still time for interesting stuff. Check out the size of this doughnut from a restaurant in New Orleans.

I hope you enjoyed those pictures of the relief effort for Hurricane Katrina in Biloxi and New Orleans. To find more images that Chuck took after Hurricane Katrina, go to the following page: God Bless The South
